Congratulations to all the Highland High School SADD Chapter members for all their hard work on the 2016 Haunted House presented at the Lewis County Fairgrounds. Students worked hard all week building the haunted house and then assisted tearing it down. The students raised almost $1000.00 to go toward student safety projects. This includes the purchase of after prom prizes and other items. Sheriff Parrish wanted to commend the SADD officers for their leadership including Jackson Parrish, President, Jacie Eisenberg, Vice President, Emily Dehner, Treasurer, and Morgan Jennings, Secretary. He also wanted to congratulate the freshman and sophomore class for their hard work as well.
Deputy Cory Bennett was instrumental in providing guidance to the students for this important effort. The Sheriff's Office would also like to thank Kelli Geisendorfer and the Lewis County Fair Board for their continued support of the SADD chapter. Special thanks to County Market Express Manager Dorothy Hinds for her assistance as well as Y101, Refreshment Services Pepsi, Orscheln's Farm and Home for their assistance as well.
