On December 16, 2015 members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Mark A. Clay, age 17, of La Grange, Missouri on one count of possession of controlled substance, a Class C Felony.  This arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the school resource deputy posted at Highland High School.  Clay was found to be in possession of prescription medication of another person.

Clay remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash only bond.
