On May 6, 2016, members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, NEMO Drug Task Force and the Canton Police Department arrested Donald J Wilhite, age 20, of Austin, Texas on two counts of Distributing a Controlled Substance on or near a school campus, a class A felony.  Mr. Wilhite is alleged to have sold marijuana on or near the Culver-Stockton College campus.

Mr. Wilhite was released from the Lewis County Jail after posting a $50,000 cash only bond.
