On April 30, 2016 the Sheriff's Office and the Lewis County Coroner conducted a death investigation near 280th Street in rural LaGrange, Missouri after receiving a report of a deceased male subject being found in a wooded area. 

At approximately 11:17 a.m., Coroner Larry Arnold pronounced Brandon M. Warning, age 24, of LaGrange, Missouri deceased.  Mr. Warning died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
