On August 24, 2024, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office apprehended Thomas Butler, age 56, of Maywood, Missouri.  Butler, who previously pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in May 2024, failed to comply with conditions of probation and a warrant was issued.  The Lewis County Sheriff's Office has attempted to apprehend Mr. Butler on several occasions, but were unsuccessful.

Deputy Matt Frank is commended for taking Mr. Butler into custody.

Butler remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted with this apprehension.
