On August 10, 2024, a Lewis County Deputy conducted a traffic stop near Lewistown, Missouri. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy noticed him sweating and shaking. The deputy asked if there was anything illegal in the truck and the driver informed there was "meth" in the car. The driver was detained and a search of the vehicle lead to the discovery of a substance consistent with Methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia.
Cameron J Coulter, age 31, of Quincy, Illinois was placed under arrest and taken to the Lewis County Jail where he was held on a 24-hour hold.
An arrest warrant was sought through Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger. The Honorable Corey Moon issued a warrant alleging one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, a class D felony.
Mr. Coulter remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail with no bond allowed.
