On April 22, 2024, Pharris D. Goodwin, age 36, of Kahoka, Missouri was arrested by the Knox County Sheriff's Office in Knox City, Missouri in relation to an outstanding Lewis County warrant. Mr. Goodwin was wanted for stealing.
In February, 2024, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office was called to investigate the theft of a steel logging trailer from a rural property east of Williamstown. After further investigation, Mr. Goodwin was identified as the primary suspect and an arrest warrant was sought through Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger. The Honorable Corey Moon issued a warrant alleging one count of stealing, a class D Felony.
Mr. Goodwin remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
The Sheriff's Office has reason to believe there are other suspects involved and are seeking to identify them. The public is asked to contact the Lewis County Sheriff's Office if they have further information.
