Attempted Burglary Arrest

On October 28, 2021, Lewis County deputies arrested Briana L. Stanislaw, age 20, of Ewing, Missouri for attempted burglary in the second degree.

Deputies had investigated a report of a female attempting to burglarize the Gustavabell Farm Stand in Ewing during the night of October 27, 2021.  Ms. Stanislaw was caught on surveillance video attempting to break into a lock box.  Ms. Stanislaw was located in Ewing, Missouri and taken into custody without incident.

On October 28, 2021, formal charges were sought by Assistant Prosecutor Chelsea Fellinger and a warrant was issued by Associate Judge Corey Moon.  Ms. Stanislaw was charged with one count of attempted burglery, a class E felony.

Ms. Stanislaw remains in the Clark County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash only bond.
