Order of Protection Violation Arrest

On July 23, 2020, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Jamie L Brumbaugh, age 33, of Durham, Missouri on one count of violation of order of protection for adult, a class A misdemeanor.  Deputies responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance at the Brumbaugh residence in rural Durham, Missouri.  Mr. Brumbaugh had left the scene upon deputies arrival.  Deputies later located Mr. Brumbaugh at a residence in Durham, where he was taken into custody for the violation of the order of protection.

This arrest stemmed from an incident which took place on July 9, where Mr. Brumbaugh was arrested for domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child, first degree.  He was previously released on $25,000 bond by posting 10% and was ordered not to have contact with the victim in this case.   This bond has been revoked for this violation and a new bond in the amount of $27,500 has been imposed by the Lewis County Court.

Mr. Brumbaugh remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of the cash only bond.
