On July 9, 2020, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Jamie L Brumbaugh, age 33, of Durham, Missouri on one count of domestic assault , a class E felony and one count endangering the welfare of a child - 1st degree, a class C felony.  This arrest was the result of an investigation pertaining to a report that Mr. Brumbaugh assaulted two family members in their home.  The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Missouri Children's Division.

Mr. Brumbaugh remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash only bond
