Circuit Court Law Day Information
The following individuals appeared before the honorable Russell E. Steele for sentencing on March 5, 2020:
BRADLEY L FARR, age 32, of Canton, Missouri pled guilty to three counts of possession of a controlled substance, all class D felonies. He was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. That sentence was suspended and he was given 120 days of shock treatment in the Missouri Department of Corrections and five years of probation.
ERIC D KIRTLINK, age 40, of La Grange, Missouri pled guilty to one count of DWI-chronic offender, a class C felony, and one count of DWI - aggravated, a class D felony. Mr. Kirtlink was sentenced to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. That sentence was suspended and he was given 24 days of shock incarceration at the Lewis County Jail, with work release allowed, and five years supervised probation.
EILEEN C POLAK, age 51, of Canton, Missouri pled guilty to one charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a class D felony. Ms. Polak was sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. That sentence was suspended and she received five years supervised probation. Dismissed was one charge for unlawful possession of a firearm as a felon, class D felony. Other charges that were withdrawn included possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony, and delivery or possession of a controlled substance at a county/private jail except with a written prescription, a class C felony.
KIONA M SCHULER, age 18, of Sullivan, Missouri pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and was sentenced to five years supervised probation. A second charge of possession of marijuana, a class D misdemeanor, was dismissed.
KRYSTAL L THORNTON, age 35, of Henderson, Kentucky pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony. Miss Thornton was given five years of supervised probation.
BRETT G EVATT, age 25, of Quincy, Illinois pled guilty in 2016 to one count of dist/del/manf/produce or attempt to or possess with intent to dist/del/manf/produce a controlled substance, and class B felony and received five years of supervised probation on October 5, 2017. Mr. Evatt was in court for allegedly being in violation of his probation conditions. He was found in violation of probation and ordered to continue with his supervised probation with no changes to his requirements.
CATHERINE A M BLENTLINGER, age 31, of Kahoka, Missouri pled guilty to one count of non-support, total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support, a class E felony. Miss Blentlinger received two years probation.
