On February 18, 2020 the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Jeffrey A. Bruhl, age 39, of Ewing, Missouri on one count of receiving stolen property, a class A misdemeanor.  This arrest is the result of an investigation in which Jeff Bruhl attempted to sell a fifth wheel trailer hitch belonging to another person.  Mr. Bruhl did not have authority to possess or sell the hitch. 

Mr. Bruhl has been arrested by the Sheriff's Office on several occasions.  He currently has other cases pending in the associate court including harassment in the 1st degree, Exparte violation and non-support.

Mr. Bruhl was released from jail after posting a $2500 surety bond.
