On January 23, 2020, members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Daniel L. White, age 42, of rural Canton, Missouri for possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony.  Mr. White was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. 

Mr. White is currently lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Mr. White is currently on probation through the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole after recently being released from the Department of Corrections.
