On February 8, 2016, Jon T. Allensworth, age 35, of La Belle, Missouri was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault-2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.  Members of law enforcement responded to LaBelle, Missouri to a domestic disturbance.  Upon further investigation it was determined Mr. Allensworth had thrown a knife towards the victim in a threatening manner. 

Mr. Allensworth is currently lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
