On January 4, 2019, members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office were called to a domestic disturbance on Waverly Street, Ramsey Jones Trailer Park, near La Grange, Missouri.  The female victim reported she had been punched in the stomach and elbowed.

Deputies arrested Nicholas P. Andrews, age 35, of La Grange, Missouri for domestic assault.  He was formally charged with one count of domestic assault in the third degree, a class E felony.

Andrews was released from jail on an O.R. bond after court on January 7, 2019.
