On Sunday, January 10, 2016, members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office were called to a report of domestic violence occurring in La Belle, Missouri.  Upon arrival, law enforcement located a female victim with bodily injuries.  Deputies arrested Terry Starr, age 33, on Domestic Assault charges.

On January 11, 2016, Mr. Starr was formally charged with one count of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony.  Mr. Starr remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash only bond.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the State Highway Patrol.
