On May 18, 2017, James R. Mihal Jr., age 49, of Ewing, Missouri was arrested by the Lewis County Sheriff's Office on one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a class D felony.  Deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff Office were  attempting to serve a civil summons at the Mihal residence and made contact with James Mihal.  During the interaction, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located on Mr. Mihal's person.

Mr. Mihal is currently lodged in the Lewis County Sheriff's Office Jail in lieu of $10000.00 bond.
