On March 23, 2017, Joseph R Ray, age 23, of Quincy, Illinois was arrested by the Lewis County Sheriff's Office on one count of statutory sodomy in the 1st degree, an unclassified felony.  Mr. Ray is alleged to have had sexual contact with a minor.  This investigation was conducted by the sheriff's office and the Missouri Children's Division and stems from an August, 2014 incident. 

Mr. Ray remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash only bond.
