On April 30th, 2016 members of the NEMO Drug Task Force will be hosting a drug take back event at the County Market Grocery Store in Canton, Missouri.  From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., officers will accept prescription and over the counter medications that are no longer being used or are expired.  Law enforcement is especially interested in pain medications and psychotropic medications due to the higher risk of these types of drugs being used in illegal ways.  This effort is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration in collaboration with the NEMO Drug Task Force, Sheriff's Office, Canton Police Department, and LaGrange Police Department.

Syringes, glassware, and radioactive medications cannot be accepted.
