HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

As the holiday season approaches, I want to take this time to acknowledge our staff for their contributions to our success.  I am lucky to have some of the most dedicated deputies and civilian staff who proudly work hard to protect you and yours.  I want to thank each of them for their hard work and encourage you to do the same when you see them.  I especially want to congratulate Chief Deputy Robert Power for winning the Quincy Exchange Club Law Enforcement Officer of the year in 2015.  It is one of the highest honors bestowed on law enforcement in the tri-state area and it is richly deserved.

I would also like to acknowledge our community for their tremendous support and efforts in helping to make Lewis County a safer place to live and raise a family.  As we have watched the many trials and tribulations of law enforcement throughout the country this past year it has helped us appreciate how good we have it in Lewis County.  We appreciate your input and assistance in any way.
