Vehicle Theft Arrest

On September 24, 2022, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office was advised of a vehicle  being reported stolen from W Jackson Street in La Grange, Missouri.  After investigation of the incident, Jamie R Spindler, age 40, of La Grange, Missouri was arrested on one count of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle - 1st Degree and one count of Stealing, both class D felonies.  He was placed on a 24-hour hold while these charges were sought.

Assistant Prosecutor Chelsea Fellinger made application for a felony warrant on September 24th, and the Honorable Judge Corey Moon issued a warrant for one count of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle - 1st Degree and one count of Stealing, both class D felonies.

Mr. Spindler remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
