Trespassing Arrest

On May 21, 2024, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office received a report of trespasser at a residence near Williamstown, Missouri. The caller stopped a female suspect from driving away in his vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy arrested the suspect identified as Kasey Crandall, age 24, of Keokuk, Iowa.
Miss Crandall was formally charged with a class E felony of Tampering with a motor Vehicle - 1st Degree by Lewis County Prosecutor Chelsea Fellinger. The Honorable Corey Moon issued a warrant with no bond authorized.
Miss Crandall remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail.
