            Arrested Individual: Anna Renee Robertson, age 41, of Lewistown, Missouri

            Arrest Date: January 9, 2025

            Arrest Location: Lewistown, Missouri

            Arrest Agency: Lewis County Sheriff's Office

            Charge: Stealing, a class D felony (2 counts)

Incident Background:

            Date of Incident: November 17, 2024

            Location: Ewing, Missouri

            Time: NA

            Details: On November 19, 2024 the LCSO received a report from an elderly person that her purse had been stolen from her apartment in Ewing, Missouri.  The victim further reported her debit cards had been stolen and subsequently used at several ATM's in both Lewis County and Adams County, Illinois.  The victim identified the suspect as a family member, Anna Renee Robertson.  Anna was later interviewed and admitted to taking the purse from the apartment.

On December 20th, 2024 a felony complaint was filed by Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger, alleging two counts of felony stealing.  An arrest warrant was then issued by the Honorable Corey Moon, Associate Circuit Judge.  

Robertson was taken into custody at her apartment in Lewistown and then transported to the Lewis County Jail.  She remains incarcerated in the Clark County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 cash only bond.
