Suspicious Fire

At approximately 6:00 a.m. on April 15, 2020, Lewis County first responders were called to a structure fire on Highway E, east of Williamstown, Missouri. The structure was an old house without electric or gas hooked up. The Canton Fire Protection District, Ewing-Maywood R-4 Fire District and Western Lewis County Fire Protection District responded. The structure was a complete loss. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the fire.
