Stolen Vehicle Arrest

On March 24, 2021, deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a stolen vehicle near Ewing, Missouri.  The vehicle was located on State Highway 6 near Durham, Missouri and a traffic stop was made.  Contact was made with the driver, Jamie L Wallace, who was placed under arrest for possession of the stolen vehicle.  Ms. Wallace was lodged in the Marion County Jail pending issuance of a warrant.

On March 25, 2021, Lewis County Circuit Court issued a warrant for Jamie L Wallace, age 32, of Canton, Missouri charging her with one count of stealing a motor vehicle, a class D felony.  She remains lodged in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
