Incident Details:

            Individual: Harold D Fogle, age 63, Eldon, Missouri

            Arrest Date: April 11, 2025

            Arrest Location: Lewis, Missouri

            Arresting Agency: Lewis County Sheriff's Office

            Charge: Possession of Controlled Substance, Resisting Arrest by Fleeing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No valid Operator's License, Careless and Imprudent Operation of a Vehicle

Incident Background:

            Date of Incident:  April 11, 2025

            Location: Rural Lewis County, Missouri

            Time: NA

            Details: A Lewis County Sheriff's Office deputy was on routine patrol and noticed a vehicle that seemed to be broken down on State Highway 6 near Granite Avenue in rural Lewistown, Missouri.  The deputy requested ID from the driver, which was given to the deputy, then the driver fled in his vehicle going westbound on State Hwy 6.  The deputy initiated a pursuit which traveled through gravel roads where the suspect ran off the road several times.  The vehicle then traveled into Marion County where deputies were able to use spike strips to stop the vehicle.

Mr. Fogle was arrested on an outstanding Missouri Department of Corrections parole warrant and placed in the Lewis County Jail.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office sought official charges through Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger.  Fellinger applied for a warrant and the Honorable Judge Corey Moon issued said warrant on April 16, 2025.  The charges are as follows:  one count Possession of Controlled Substance, a class D Felony; one count Resisting Arrest by Fleeing, a class E Felony; one count Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a class D Misdemeanor; one county Operate Vehicle on Highway without a Valid License, a class A Misdemeanor and one count Operate a Motor Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner, a class A Misdemeanor.

Mr. Fogle remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 cash only bond.

The sheriff's Office was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
