Possession of Child Pornography Arrest

On May 16, 2023, members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Henry L. Jaco, age 70, of Lewistown, Missouri for possession of child pornography.  Previously, on September 16th, 2021, members of the Sheriff's Office and the Kirksville Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant after the Kirksville Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit  had received information that child pornography may be located at this residence. 

Subsequent to this investigation, an arrest warrant was sought by Lewis County Prosecutor Chelsea Fellinger and received on May 16, 2023.  Mr. Jaco has been formally charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography  in excess of 20 images, a class B felony.  Based on the forensic investigation conducted by Kirksville Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit, Mr. Jaco is alleged to have possessed thousands of images of child pornography.

Mr. Jaco remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $100,000.00 bond.
