Outstanding Warrant Arrest

On May 19, 2019, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office formally arrested Matthew A. Wisdom, age 35, of Hannibal, Missouri.  Mr. Wisdom had previously been taken into custody by the Quincy Police Department after being found in Quincy, Illinois.  Wisdom is currently charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, a class B felony.  Wisdom is alleged to have endangered the welfare of a 13 year old female in May, 2018 in Taylor, Lewis County, Missouri.  Wisdom was in charge of the care of the 13 year old and, during this time, the 13 year old became extremely intoxicated and was later taken to a medical facility for treatment purposes.

Wisdom remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $20,000 cash only bond.
