On December 16, 2019 deputies with the Lewis County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in LaBelle, Missouri  to the report of a possible burglary.  When deputies arrived they located the door to the residence had been kicked open.  Upon entry to the residence  deputies located Steven A. Clay , age 43, of LaBelle inside the residence.  Upon investigation, Mr. Clay was arrested for Property Damage 2nd Degree. 

Mr. Clay has pending  charges  for Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree  in the Lewis County Circuit Court stemming from an incident which took place in April, 2019. 

Mr. Clay remains in the Lewis County Jail with no bond pending his appearance in the Lewis County Circuit Court.
