Grain Bin Update

Update Number 2 - LaBelle Grain Bin Collapse
Deputies remain on scene at the ADM grain processing facility along with representatives of ADM.
The primary issue at this time is the removal of a tower/leg that remains standing but is leaning and unstable. Specialized work crews were on scene today and are moving in heavy equipment to safely take down the leg.
Four homes near the facility have been evacuated in the abundance of caution. Once again we appreciate these citizens kindness and cooperation.
We ask all citizens to stay away from State Street between 6th and 8th.
