FRAUDULENT CHECK ARREST

On April 13, 2023, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Robin R Wilson, age 38, of Payson, Illinois who is charged with one count of Passing Bad Check, a class E felony. The charge stems from an investigation conducted in November of 2022 in regards to Ms. Wilson passing a fraudulent check at Orscheln Farm & Home in Canton, Missouri in August, 2022.
Formal charges were sought through Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Chelsea Fellinger. Mrs. Fellinger filed formal charges and the Honorable Corey R Moon, Associate Judge, issued a warrant for Ms. Wilson.
Ms. Wilson remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 cash only bond.
