Felony DWI Arrest

On July 20, 2019 members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Office were called to 225th Street south of La Belle, Missouri to investigate a report of a person driving while intoxicated. Deputies located Paul R. Whitworth, age 28, of La Belle slumped over the steering wheel of a 2015 Jeep Liberty. Mr. Whitworth, formerly of the Kansas City, Missouri area, was arrested for a felony DWI. Mr. Whitworth has numerous prior DWI convictions. His last arrest occurred in Shelby County, Missouri in July 2019.
Mr. Whitworth was formally charged with one count of DWI, third offense, a class E felony.
He remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail with a no bond warrant issued by the Lewis County Circuit Clerk.
