Domestic Assault Arrest

On October 23, 2021, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office received a report of a domestic disturbance in progress in La Grange, Missouri.  Upon arrival, the Lewis County deputy encountered Melissa  M.       McGlauchlen, age 48, and Chassie L Young, age 48, who had been involved in a physical altercation. 

Following an investigation, Melissa McGlauchlen was taken into custody and lodged in the Clark County Jail on a 24 hour hold.  She was subsequently charged with domestic assault -3rd degree, a class E felony.  Chassie Young was given citations for domestic assault - 3rd degree.

Miss McGlauchlen has been released from the Clark County Jail as of this release.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
