Child Abuse Arrest
On March 9, 2020, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office received a report of child abuse/neglect concerning two minor children. Upon further investigation, deputies arrested Billy W Davis, age 40, and Karla C Ellis, age 25, both of Lewistown, Missouri for child abuse. Both subjects were formally charged with one count of child abuse/neglect, a class D felony. Both subjects were released with a summons to appear, as ordered by the court.
