Burglary Arrest

On October 23, 2020, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a possible burglary in progress at a residence in Lewistown, Missouri.  Upon investigation, it was determined that a male subject had entered a residence and was seen on surveillance cameras by the property owner.  The deputies responded to the residence at which time was able to view the camera footage.  Deputies identified the subject as  Zane E. Dopheide, age 20, of Lewistown, Missouri.  Deputies located Mr. Dopheide and placed him under arrest for one count of burglary - 2nd degree, a class D felony.

Mr. Dopheide remains lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.
